Because of You...
MAPS (Museum of Archaeology, Paleontology & Science) is Tampa Bay’s only natural history museum. With a collection of more than 10,000 artifacts and fossils spanning five continents, MAPS provides hands-on programs that inspire curiosity, ignite imagination, and foster a lifelong love of science and culture.
Each year, MAPS reaches thousands of students and families through school field trips, camps, traveling exhibits, and community programs.
Sponsorships help us expand access, conserve our world-class collection, and deliver transformational learning opportunities across Tampa Bay.
Partnering with MAPS means making a direct impact on the Tampa Bay community by expanding access for students and families, including underserved schools. Sponsors build credibility by aligning with Tampa Bay’s only natural history museum while also creating unique opportunities for their employees and clients to engage with MAPS programs firsthand, deepening community ties and brand goodwill.
... We Make an Impact
Last year, MAPS reached more than 8,000 individuals through tours, exhibits, and educational programming, inspiring students, families, and lifelong learners across the Tampa Bay area. Each visit sparks curiosity and nurtures appreciation for science and culture.
This work is powered by the dedication of our community. Last year alone, MAPS volunteers contributed over 6,000 hours toward education, collections care, and events; demonstrating the grassroots commitment to seeing Tampa Bay’s only natural history museum thrive.
Today, MAPS is preparing to take the next step: launching a fundraising campaign to secure a permanent facility that will protect the collection, expand access, and establish itself as a cornerstone of Tampa Bay’s cultural and educational landscape.
